Crowning Achievement
Through our innovative and comprehensive SpecNav health risk prevention and care navigation services, we have cracked the, heretofore, elusive code to addressing a critical challenge in healthcare - that of improving care outcomes, while reducing costs.
In 2003, ComPrises Consulting, LLC (now Preservant) was incorporated as a business and information technology consulting company. Businesses across the country were reeling from the negative impacts of the economic recession when, in 2013, the decision was made to enter the healthcare industry, providing healthcare informatics (workflow and process optimization) services to healthcare organizations of various types and sizes. We developed services designed to enable healthcare organizations to effectively reorganize their workflows and processes to meet the fast-developing demands to deliver their services on a virtual platform.
In 2016, we created SpecNav, our innovative health care navigation services, to meet the need of health care patients and their caregivers for assistance navigating the complex and siloed U.S health care system. Nearly three (3) years of intensive R&D was performed in order to identify the opportunities and devise the delivery strategies for those services. Up to this point, we have provided our SpecNav care navigation services to medical patients and their caregivers across NC, SC and GA. These services are provided in-person and, through our SpecTele telehealth initiative, they are provided virtually. There are ongoing efforts to obtain a billing code and have our innovative care services classified as “covered benefits” by private and federal healthcare payers.
SpecAPP, a digital care navigation mobile app, is under development which will focus on empowering and protecting patients by providing the skills and knowledge required for patients to become effective partners in their own care. Our mobile app will provide a private environment in which one could prepare for engagements with providers and effectively self-manage one’s care, across their specific health care continuum.
All of the company’s activities are guided by a strategic plan which is, regularly, tweaked to reflect the needs of the healthcare industry, the company’s mission and, developing realities.
